Ever since I was a young child, I have been fascinated by computers. I played on websites like Cool Math Games for hours and thought about the time, commitment, and attention to detail the people who developed these games must have had. As I grew older, I got more curious about how computers worked. In high school, I got involved in organizations where I could learn about different avenues of computer science and how I could develop products that amaze people and make them wonder what else is possible.


Currently, I'm a senior studying Computer Science at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), where I have taken exciting courses like Data Structures and Intro to High-Performance Computing. I am currently an AI Fellow at Break Through Tech, studying machine learning and how to apply AI in industry. I have also interned at Runwayz, designing product features through user research and iterative AI-assisted development.


Previously, I worked as a tech consultant/research intern for Argonne National Laboratory through Chicago Tech Circle, where I partially automated qubit production through interdisciplinary collaboration. I have held multiple positions at the Adler Planetarium, including as an undergraduate intern researching light pollution and how it impacts our communities.


I have experience with Python, C++, Jupyter Notebooks, and scikit-learn. I also have excellent written and verbal communication skills as a staff tutor at the UIC Writing Center and through student leadership positions at Women in Computer Science (WiCS).


I am especially interested in AI/ML, data science, quantum computing, and back-end development. I am seeking a full-time role where I can leverage AI responsibly to create meaningful, beneficial impact on people's lives. Intro to High-Performance Computing (HPC) Bootcamp, St. Charles, IL

  • Gained hands-on experience with distributed computing and large-scale systems during a weeklong bootcamp
  • Designed, trained, and benchmarked deep learning models using PyTorch and Jupyter Notebooks on multi-GPU nodes to perform short-term load forecasting, predicting electricity demand for 30 households
  • Processed and visualized time series data in Python using Matplotlib to analyze energy consumption trends
  • Collaborated in a small team to develop and deliver a technical presentation summarizing model performance, trade-offs between architectures, and forecasting accuracy

  • Collaborated with a cross-disciplinary team at Argonne National Laboratory to automate manufacturing processes for diamond membranes used in color center qubits
  • Streamlined laboratory workflows by developing Python scripts to systematically control microscope positioning, reducing manual equipment handling by 96% and enhancing operational efficiency
  • Designed and tested computer vision algorithms with OpenCV to detect membranes and extract geometric features for automated analysis
  • Co-authored a technical report detailing methods, results, and recommendations for future work

  • Processed and stitched aerial imagery from high-altitude balloon flights to generate geospatial light pollution maps
  • Analyzed image brightness and color data with QGIS to quantify light pollution across different property zones
